Major updates to the Honolulu International Airport included plans to relocate several hangar facilities to allow for an expansion of the adjacent taxiways. The State of Hawai`i began construction on a new facility for Hawaiian Airlines to use for their maintenance and cargo programs. Hawaiian Airlines completed the construction work and opened the building in December 2017.

This facility consists of two fabric-roofed hangars connected by a two story CMU administration building.

The maintenance hangar is large enough to hold up to five aircraft at once, while the cargo hangar is slightly smaller and used primarily for storage and shipping logistics.

I worked on this project while with the Hawaii office of RIM Architects. This project was completed following my departure for another company.
