The research program regarding composite technologies and the subsequent potential applications at Florida State University is scattered throughout the campus in various satellite laboratories. This research facility consolidates these labs into one building, providing this program distinction as the world class operation into which it has developed. The Material Research Lab provides laboratory space as well as offices for faculty, graduate students, and administration.
